The following one-day course is aimed at those new to ear irrigation with content delivered in two parts. The initial training is delivered fully online and once complete, will allow the opportunity to enrol onto a separate practical session delivered face to face at the university.

- Reasons for carrying out ear irrigation

- Obtaining informed consent
- Health and safety
- Infection control, safe disposal and cleaning of equipment
- Practical workshop
- Appropriate documentation
- Patient advice
