Continence Management

 

Many care home residents have complex healthcare needs, reflecting multiple long-term conditions, disability and frailty. A large proportion of residents suffer from acute or chronic urinary symptoms, including incontinence.

Professor John S. Young is an internationally-recognised expert in continence management, who has previously been commissioned by Health Education England to provide Continuous Professional Development to NHS England employees, and by TENA, to write content for their webpages. Specifically for the care home setting, he has developed a bespoke programme of accessible eLearning modules to help develop improved practices in all aspects of continence management.
